Somewhere in those MCTC classes, "The Revolution of Cassandra" was born.

So many people have asked where The Revolution of Cassandra came from that I realized the only honest answer is to tell the story behind the storyteller.

I never set out to become a filmmaker. At 18, while living on a houseboat, I landed a job as a special effects assistant on Drop Dead Fred. One opportunity led to another. I rigged stunts, blew things up for a living, and even spent time flying Prince in a harness and almost living at Paisley Park, sleeping on my stunt matts.

It was an unlikely beginning.

Over the years I worked on films like Fargo, A Simple Plan, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and the Mighty Ducks trilogy. An education I never planned.

Looking back, I realize I wasn't just learning how to make movies. I was learning how to find my voice.

That's what this series is about. Not filmmaking. Not a graphic novel. Not me.

It's about the long road toward discovering what you believe in deeply enough to create something that matters.

It's easy to be against everything.

This version is NOT my precise imagination of who she is - this looks too much like a fashion model, which is a problem with AI. Working with 3 different fantastic artists generated different looks of our story, all of them more authentic than this. I’m not interested in replacing human artists, but finding a balance with the tools that are not going away is important to understand in a changing world. What are your thoughts on the use of “ethical” AI?
